This page explains how Railstack and the 7→1 Builder Challenge collect and use information when you join the waitlist or sign up for the builder process.

What we collect

• Contact details such as name and email.
• Form responses such as use case, skill, startup interest, and concrete contribution.
• Attribution data such as landing page, referrer, and UTM parameters.
• Technical data that helps protect the forms from abuse.

What we use it for

• Managing the waitlist and builder signups.
• Sending relevant emails, confirmations, and updates.
• Understanding which messages, channels, and use cases perform best.
• Reducing spam and abuse on the signup flows.

Where data is processed

The site is hosted on Vercel, and email/signup data is processed through Resend. These services act as processors for operating the site and its email flows.

Retention

We keep data for as long as it is relevant to the waitlist, builder process, follow-up, and product improvement, or until you ask us to delete it, unless we have a legitimate reason to retain it longer.

Your rights

You can request access, correction, or deletion of your data. You can also unsubscribe from emails using the unsubscribe link in each email or by contacting chris@railstack.co.
